The Keynote speaker, The President H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recounted the success the country has chalked in the past years in the fight against HIV/AIDS during the 2021 World AIDS Day(WAD) celebration held on 1st Dec, 2021 at the forecourt of International Trades fair Company.
In his speech, the President acknowledged the support of WAPCAS and other implementing partners notably the Ghana Health Service(GHS), Christian Health Association of Ghana(CHAG), John Snow Inc (JSI) for their immense support contribution towards the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The celebrations was graced by dignitaries and heads of institutions and agencies notably, US Ambassador to Ghana, country Director -UNAIDS, Director General of GAC, Presidential Advisor on Health, Chiefs and Queen mothers, School pupils etc
