Wapcas Plus began as a member of a West African consortium in 1996, but has since 2006, established itself as an independent civil society organisation, expanding its scope from primarily health-focused interventions to broader development initiatives.
WAPCAS champions inclusive healthcare, economic empowerment, and human rights for key and vulnerable populations across Ghana through evidence-based programs and community partnerships.
The rebranding of WAPCAS to WAPCAS PLUS marks a significant evolution in our identity — reinforcing our commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations through health, education and economic empowerment, human rights advocacy, gender equality, and sustainable development.

WAPCAS PLUS — broader development initiatives across Ghana.
Contributing to a society where the vulnerable enjoy dignity, improved health, empowerment, and a fulfilling quality of life.
To enhance the well-being of the vulnerable by delivering high-quality health, education, and economic empowerment, human rights and gender equality, and fostering innovative sustainable change through capacity building, research, and strategic partnerships.
Our values guide how we work, how we serve our clients and communities, and how we collaborate with our partners. Known as E-FACT, these five principles shape every programme, service, and relationship at WAPCAS PLUS.
High-quality, evidence-based programmes and continuous learning.
Welcoming, accessible, confidential, and non-judgmental services for all.
Transparency and responsibility to communities, partners, and funders.
Empathy and dignity in every engagement with individuals and communities.
Collaboration with government, CSOs, health providers, and partners.
The seven pillars that define how we deliver meaningful, lasting change for communities across Ghana.
Every action, no matter how small, can make a world of difference in the lives of those affected by disaster. Whether it’s a donation.
